What is Good Shepherd Christian Preschool?
Good Shepherd Christian Preschool is a distinctive Christian environment. The mission of Good Shepherd Christian Preschool is to share the Love of Jesus with young children and their families while laying an educational foundation for life. We are located in Pittsburgh's South Hills and are part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of South Hills.

We are at 418 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. We are part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of South Hills in Pittsburgh's South Hills.

How do I schedule a tour?
Fill out the tour request form on our enrollment page.
When does registration open for new families?
For the 2026-2027 school year, registration for current families opens January 12, 2026, and for new families January 26, 2026. Please fill out one registration form per child.
Do children need to be potty trained for Toddler Time?
No. Potty training is not required for Toddler Time. Children do not need to be potty trained to register. Age 2 by September 1 is required.
Is potty training required for the 3-year-old class?
Yes. The 3 Year-Old Class requires children to be potty trained. Age 3 by September 1 is also required.
How do I pay tuition?
Once your enrollment is confirmed, you'll receive instructions to set up your Brightwheel account. All tuition payments are processed securely through Brightwheel's platform. You can pay invoices or set up automatic monthly payments; credit card or bank account options are available.

Does the preschool have a non-discrimination policy?
Yes. Good Shepherd Christian Preschool admits students of any race, color, or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies and other school-administered programs.

Check our Preschool Facebook page and look for an email from the Preschool Director for closing information.
